"A River Survey"

A river survey is a great way to inventory the resources and issues of a given river segment. It is an intimate way to connect people to the river/stream. Through a survey, people gain an up close knowledge of the river, what makes it special, and what types of care or protection may be needed.

Typically some advanced planning needs to be mapped out, a survey training can be provided by the ChicRWC Coordinator, and then a date scheduled for a day or two of field work.The information collected can be presented in a summary report which may lead to an action plan to address any issues or future efforts.
